Upd - What a great program!!!! Lost_Icon now plays samples via the Upd daemon
whenever something goes wrong (or whenever something goes right!!!)
The Upd archive is included as part of this archive.
The Upd id's used are as follows...
id when it is used
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
warn_write_protected - The disk is write protected. Lost_Icon-ing disks
error_read_write - The icon is write protected. Any icon.
warn_general - The icon was a pseudo icon.
- The 'Help' requester.
error_task_held - Something goes so badly wrong that Lost_Icon
will be non-functional (has never happened)
warn_insert_volume - The directory the icon is in couldn't be locked.
i_am_starting_this_program - The program has been able to start without any
errors.
i_am_quitting_this_program - The 'Quit' requester.
thanks_a_bunch_matey - the 'About' requester.
The more observant amongst you will notice that all but the last three id's
are all ready part of upd and are arq id's. I couldn't get arq requesters!
No matter what I did, I always got the same requester. So I gave up and went
for reqtools instead. Sorry folks, but that's all there is to it.
(Everyone should have reqtools.library anyway, if not then you can get it
from the same place you got this.)
Anyone who *really* wants real arq can email me with suggestions as to what I
was doing wrong and I will try to sort it all out.
